Description

Dear Colleagues,

I am delighted to report that we are making fast progress with curriculum renewal, as our redesign team is more than halfway done in crafting new curricular plans for broader consideration. Your input and participation in this process have been essential, and we couldn’t have done it without you.

We are therefore pleased to announce that there will be two more curriculum “re-visioning” forums for the University of California at Davis School of Medicine community, and ask that you join us again in this important component of our curriculum redesign process. Faculty, resident and fellow physicians, medical students and staff are welcome to participate in either or both forums. We will revisit your recommendations from the spring forums and discuss how the curriculum design team has incorporated your recommendations into our plans. Your feedback on our progress thus far will be requested.

  • Revisiting our Vision for a Patient-Centered Curriculum at UCDSOM”, and will be held on Thursday, October 17 from 12:00 – 1:00 pm in the Betty Irene Moore Hall School of Nursing, room 1000.

For those of you on the Davis campus or other off-campus sites, we have made special arrangements for up to 18 individuals to participate in the discussion via WebEx. Please register and email Katelyn Watkins (kjwatkins@ucdavis.edu) to confirm your remote spot.

For those attending in Sacramento, food will be provided. Additional information for these sessions will be shared in the days ahead for those who registered. Space is limited to 175 participants for each session so we encourage you to sign up now. I look forward to sharing our progress with you!

With thanks,

Kristin
